How to apply for a Komatsu Apprenticeship

How do I apply?

Applications for the Komatsu 2024 Apprenticeship program will open in July 2023. Please refer to our website for more information.

What documentation will I need to submit an online application?
To submit your online application you will be requested to upload the following:
• Resume
• Cover letter
• A copy of your most recent school results, TAFE or University results, or evidence of work-related training (mature age candidates)

What happens after I have applied online?

If your application is successful you can expect to complete the following tasks throughout the recruitment process:

Step 1: Apply online by uploading your resume, school results, conduct a short video interview and questionnaire

Step 2: If deemed successful, you will be invited to complete a few game-based assessments

Step 3: Successful applicants will be invited to attend an Engagement Centre or for remote regions a face-to-face interview at your local branch

Step 4: Shortlisted applicants will then be required to conduct a medical assessment, drug and alcohol screen, functional assessment and reference checks.

Step 5: Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer prior to proceeding to the onboarding stage.

What Apprenticeships will be on offer in 2024?

Specific Trades and locations have not yet been released. Please refer to our website for more information as it becomes available.

Can I apply for more than one apprenticeship?

No. Unfortunately you will only be able to apply for one apprenticeship stream in one location.

Who is eligible for an apprenticeship?

To be eligible to commence the apprenticeship program, you must be a minimum of 16 years old at the time of commencement as well as hold Australian working rights. If you are under 18 years old and under the care or control of a parent or guardian, when commencing the apprenticeship program, you will require parental signed consent.
