About the Role

As part of our collaborative Uniting team, you’ll:

  • Work closely with care teams to deliver nutritious and holistic catering services.
  • Manage the catering function, leading a team and engaging with external service operators, catering providers, and suppliers.
  • Oversee menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery tailored to the unique needs of our clients.
  • Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards in food preparation and storage.
  • Manage ordering, delivery, and inventory processes to ensure seamless operations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visible leadership in Work Health & Safety (WH&S), fostering a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans for your team.
  • Ensure your team is equipped with the resources and skills to deliver high-quality results.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and contribute to the development of innovative service improvements.

Specifically, You Will:

  • Prepare and cook daily meals with care and attention to client needs.
  • Develop and maintain rotating menus in consultation with area managers and clients.
  • Oversee the safe storage and protection of food and catering supplies.
  • Manage delivery documentation and ensure accuracy with purchase orders.

About You

  • Qualifications: Certificate in hospitality or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven competence in managing catering services, with a strong focus on leadership and teamwork.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality meals and creating a positive dining experience.
